The 2010 Toyota Camry: Large Surprises In A Small Package

Whenever you think of the common family car, you probably often imagine a drab, box type car with all the kids running around. Well, in that case, you probably haven't seen, more so driven, a Toyota Camry yet. The car definitely deliver all the spunk that you wouldn't often find in a common family car. And the kids will still be run around. For trivia nuts who might be wondering where the Camry got its name, there is an interesting story about it.  The name Camry is actually not an original English word. It is derived from the Japanese word kamuri, which means “crown”. This sticks with Toyota's tradition of naming its flagship vehicle models with terms for the word, like the Corona and the Corolla. And it's seemingly appropriate, as the Camry is considered as one of the crown jewels of Toyota's line of family cars. Toyota Fortuner A Hilux Based SUV

The Toyota Fortuner is a medium-sized SUV based on the Toyota Hilux. Assembled only in Thailand, the Fortuner is built on the well-established platform of the Toyota Hilux pickup truck. It features three rows of seats and is available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive among others. The Fortuner is part of Toyota's IMV project in Thailand, which also includes the Toyota Hilux and the Innova(in Indonesia). The car was designed in Thailand by Thai and Japanese engineers. A number of engine options are available depending on the country of sale, including a 2.7 liter 2TR-FE and 4.0 liter 1GR-FE V6 petrol with Variable Valve Timing and 2.5 2KD-FTV and 3.0 1KD-FTV common rail variable geometry turbocharger Diesel models. Trim levels are G and G Luxury for rear-wheel drive diesel and gasoline, and V for four-wheel drive Diesel and gasoline. The common rail turbo intercooled diesel has functional scoop on its hood. The Ford Everest

The Ford Everest is a midsize SUV sold in Asia, Central America, and the Bahamas. The Everest is based on the local (Mazda-based) Ford Ranger pickup truck platform. In India it is called Ford Endeavour. The truck has three-rows of seating, rear or four wheel drive, and 2.5 L Diesel or 2.6 L petrol engines. It rides on a 2860 mm (112.6 in) wheelbase. The Everest was introduced in late March 2003 and is built at the AutoAlliance Thailand plant, and as CKD kits in other countries (India, Malaysia, Vietnam). In November 2006, Ford announced a redesigned Everest based on the new Ford Ranger (J97U), including Duratorq diesel engines and two different drivetrains: 4x2 for 2.5 litre 143 hp (107 kW) models, 4x4 for 3.0 litre 156 hp (116 kW) models. In addition, the redesign featured the new 5-speed automatic transmission with BorgWarner transfer case, and the new Active-Shift-on-the-Fly (4x4 only) for the first time. This vehicle has had its origins from the Ford Ranger which is built for the s
