2010 Nissan Armada, Get Ready for the Voyage
Armada is a fleet of warships. That sound tough. Armada is also the name of Nissan's full-size spot utility vehicle. The credit is shared by Nissan and GNC. For those who own Nissan Armada, do you think the vehicle has justified its accolade? You should say yes, because if not, then it should have vanished since its production back in 2004.
Nissan Armada is really made to be tough. It's body is inspired by trucks and SUV which are all known for strength, speed and deliverance. Among these vehicles are Nissan Titan pick up truck, Nissan Xterra SUV, Nissan Frontier pickup truck, and Nissan Pathfinder SUV where its body-on-frame F-Alpha platform is derived.
Now that we are about to enter the new decade, a new Nissan Armada is also introduced. 2010 Nissan Armada is 9th from 10 most affordable large SUVs, according to an online-based car review company. It is based on the 47 published reviews and test drives of the car and analysis of reliability and safety data.
For this year, there are three different trims that you can go for. Buyers can select from SE, Titanium and Platinum editions, this is in replacement for the discontinued LE. SE comes well-equipped with 18-inch wheels, side-step rails, rear parking assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear climate controls, an eight-way power driver seat, a tilt steering wheel and power-adjustable pedals. Both Titanium and Platinum trims feature upgraded wheels, body molding and interior materials. Platinum stands out because of its 9.3GB music hard drive, DVD entertainment system and a navigation system. They also have auto-level rear air suspension tow package (for SE only), eight-speaker stereo, leather upholstery, a backup camera, bluetooth front parking sensors, a power rear liftgate, a sunroof, dual power-folding mirrors, heated front seats and steering wheel driver memory functions.
Nissan Armada is probably the most convenient choice for SUV if you are considering affordability and quality. It is big enough to accommodate up to 8 persons, matched by 317 horsepower V8 engine. It also has high interior quality.
Compared to other vehicles of its class, Armada is the only SUV with one engine, featuring 5.6L engine that pumps out 317 horsepower.
The only disadvantage of 2010 Nissan Armada is that it offers a truckish ride because of its size. It also has a subpar fuel economy and has less cargo space than most full-size SUVs.
Fuel will be your main concern for this vehicle, given that there is crisis on oil supply on many parts of the world. Actually, this is the main reason why Armada shrunk in the market before. Owners cannot support the fuel need of the Nissan Armada. But depending on what region you live, Armada is still a very good choice. Remember that the Armada is a package of convenience and quality that you won't find on other brands of SUV.
